Our weight training areas have a combination of selectorised and plate loaded equipment coupled with dumbbells and barbells that you use in conjunction with various benches. Weight training is done to increase muscle mass and strength but can also be used to sculpt and tone existing muscle mass. Weight training improves your posture, balance and coordination, reduces the risk of diabetes in adults, strengthens your bones which helps to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and in some cases can reverse the natural decline of your metabolic rate.
